Robots Screwed Me

Ok I just launched a site a few days ago and forgot to turn off the option in the backend of Wordpress to block search engines. I had a $360 press release go out, and my site isn't even indexed.

I turned off the robots text, but how long will it take for search engines to crawl my site now? Would they have put me on the back burner after seeing that my site was blocking them?

Also what did I miss out on while blocking them as the press release went out?

You can check the recently cached page using Google toolbar and know when the G cached your site.

If it has not cached yet, change the setting in your blog to let the search engines crawl your site.

Then install XML Sitemaps plugin or generate a sitemap using free tools around and submit it to G using Webmaster Tools.

In a few days time, G might crawl again and check for unique content.
