Robots Meta Tag Follow

I have added the Robots meta tag to the header of my Wordpress blog and allowed all links to be followed (effectively making everything DoFollow). I also removed the No Follow tag from my comment links, so I'm hoping this is all I need to do in order to make my blog DoFollow?

lemme tell you one thing, adding meta tags to your wordpress blog adds to some value in google SE , but making your blog's comments do-follow is not quite advisable. if i knew that your blog is do follow , then i would try and insert hyper links in the comments and possibly spam your blog . my advice is to keep the meta tags and make the comments NO-follow

There are much more efficient ways to protect blog against SPAM, than switching between do/no follow. Actually even if a blog is no-follow one there are still many SPAM until you apply certain counter-measures.

Yeah that's enough to make your blog dofollow. If your blog have any PR then share it with others so that you'll generate traffics & other bloggers would love to comment on your site.

But I would suggest you to install askimet & captcha to reduce spam comments.

I think you need to moderate the comments not to loose the quality of your blog

Totally agree. It might be postmoderation, but it should present that way or another.

Yes, that should be enough. However, when your blog is in its initial stage, this is good. but if your blog has good pr and you getting descent traffic already, i advice you to make the comments section as No follow. Or else moderate it well so that you don't have a lot of outbound links.

Well my blog is only PR3 right now with about 200k Alexa rank, so a link to Digital Point forums in my comment section really isn't spamming me with a DoFollow link. Granted the comment is obviously spam, the backlink with a DoFollow tag isn't harming my site at all. Just giving a backlink to Digital Point
