    Hi,

    Last month i implement
    <META NAME="ROBOTS" CONTENT="INDEX, NOFOLLOW">
    in my forum section only.
    Previous around 1000+ page indexed from forum section.
    But after implementing this tag now only 28 pages indexed.
    Implementing this meta tag is reason to deindex my most of forum page?
    Is ther any other reason than suggest.

    Thanks.

    Reply will be highly appreciated.:)

    Remove NoFollow tag on your webpages. It is better for your forum.

    <META NAME="ROBOTS" CONTENT="INDEX, NOFOLLOW">
    Allow indexing of the current page, however ask not to follow links inside the page for further cataloging

    So that means that the any page link from the web page will not get crawled. So, search engine will not follow any links from the webpage. Then how would you expect that the forums web pages will get indexed.

    I totally agree with you. Create a XML sitemap or generate dynamically & submit the same to GWT. It will let your web page get indexed only if you have not noindex in meta tags ;)

    I totally agree with you. That's the reason why inner pages of the forum are not indexed. He should use "nofollow" with particular links which he doesn’t want to index.
