    What is the test way to edit the robot file
    I think I have a virtual robot file at the moment

    I tried uploading one to my server and my whole site crashed

    I am trying to block google going into my terms and conditions page
    Is there a plug in to use

    That is something you make yourself and lives in the root folder. It should not crash anything though. What did you place in the robots file?

    I copied out the default robot.txt and added a bit to disallow the privacy page
    As soon as I did the site crashed and got a server error

    Removed the robot file problem fixed
