I'm having a heck of a time trying to figure out how to set up Roboform so I can use it to fill directory submission forms for multiple websites. What I want to do is the following: 1. Go to a directory 2. Navigate to the correct category 3. Click "add url" 4. When the form appears, click on something in roboform that auto-fills the form for website number 1 5. Repeat process, but click something in roboform to auto-fill the form for a DIFFERENT website. Do this as many times as I have websites to submit. My problem is that I can't figure out how to input/organize default form information for multiple websites in Roboform, and how to retrieve a specific website's information on command. I suspect there are people here who do this exact thing to submit multiple websites to free directories. Would someone be able to quickly outline how to input/organize/retrieve a websites form information when using multiple websites? Thanks
andheresjohnny, I created a different identity for each site. roboform will then have a tab for each site. You can then go to submit page for each directory and click the tab of the site you want to submit.
Use the free firefox extension "InFormEnter". I think it will do a much better job than roboform. This is what many "paid directory submitters" use for manual submissions. It doesn't auto fill, but you can set up an unlimited number of custom fields for each website, including as many different descriptions as you want - and you want to vary the title, description, password, etc. so that they aren't the same for every directory.
Thank you. That's exactly the thing I was looking for. One more question ... Do you use the free or paid version? Thanks.
I didn't know that existed. I didn't see it while searching these threads. I'll try that too. Thank you.
How is it I could have never heard to this extension? I just installed and used it for the first time. It's fantastic. Being able to store/retrieve multiple titles/descriptions per website catapults this to the top of my "most favorite firefox extension" list. Thanks for the tip. As soon as I figure out how to do it ... I'll send some well-deserved green your way.
