Anyone watching these? This guy is a constitutional brainiack! Very imprressive. I am sad to say though that my senator Herb Kohl made wisconsin look bad again when he asked the following.

"If you were on the Supreme Court right now, what would the court be doing for the victims of Hurricane Katrina" ?

    What an idiot.

Before you start calling other people idiots, you might want to learn how to spell impressive.

I'm not watching it, but that does sound funny. Did they ask him what the best color of car to buy? Or is a barbie doll a bad thing for little girls to want to be like?

I was waiting for him to respond, "If I were confirmed to the supreme court, hurricanes would be unconstitutional".

He wasn't the only idiot. Some of the questions don't even pertain to his position.

I have to say John Roberts is a very dynamic speaker

That aint as bad as Coburn from Oklahoma who was caught on camera doing a crossword puzzle, and then later almost broke down crying while giving a little speach about hate. Yea, like that's some real heartfelt commentary there. :(

Agreed what was herbie thinking and what does this have anything to do with being a supreme court justice? Didn't hear him saying this, but have to say much of the questioning has been extremely moronic to say the least

Maybe I should ask him how I should live with my family and raise my children too?

or how to scratch my ass. Seriously, this guy is light years ahead of them when it comes to intelligence. He uses no notes and always answers right away. The guys asking these questions have plenty of staff members and notes galore and they still cant get him on anything.

    sad...

Very intelligent presentation on behalf of Roberts. I have to say I am amazingly disappointed in the showing on behalf of the congressman however. Most people are just up there blowing hot air and not asking a set of intelligent questions that would affect anybody's decision to confirm or not.

From what I've seen there is no road block to confirmation because the man simply has not been asked anything that inspired a surprising answer.
