Robert Carlyle To Take Lead in Stargate Universe

    In the latest outing from the Stargate franchise, Robert Carlyle (28 days later, 51st State, 24:Redemption) is going to play the lead!

    What do you guys think of this? Can a Brit do Sci-fi?!

    Stargate has been one of my favorite shows for years. Glad to hear they're continuing the franchise. It sounds a bit like Star Trek Voyager though.

    Is star gate still on tele? I liked it when Dean Anderson was lead.
    whats happening to SG Atlantis? will they continue that too?

    SG-1 ended after series 10 and two movies with the potential for another

    Atlantis is to end after the current (5th) series and there is likely to be a movie or two

    And Stargate Universe (the new one) is set to come Summer 09
