    I have felt from last couple of weeks most of the keywords are getting inactive and know it's bid prices have been raised to $0.40 which was $0.05 and now these keywords are INACTIVE.
    Yes i cannot increase bids to such extent.
    But why prices are raised from Advertisers end and Publishers are receiving the same price?
    What do you think?

    I would imagine better ads, more focused, better landing page, better sales pitch would all help your ctr.

    Write better ads (more targeted), limit keywords per ad and play around with dynamic keyword insertion.

    Best thing to do is put fewer keywords in your ad groups and make them as targetted as possible, even if you have to make a unique ad group for each keyword.

    I followed this link but again there is some ambugity in my mind.
    suppose i set
    {keyword:nudge}
    then my adword will be shown for every search containing "nudge".
    e.g. Msn Nudge,White Nudge,Bad Nudge ...?

    Not quite, here's how it works. Let's say that in your ad group you are bidding on two keyword phrases, using exact match, [digitalpoint] & [digitalpoint is the fastest growing webmaster forum on the internet]

    You set up your ad like this:

    Title: {KeyWord:Webmaster Forums}
    Desc Line 1: Visit digitalpoint today
    Desc Line 2: for updated webmaster news
    Url info: sample.com

    If someone goes to Google and searches for "digitalpoint" they will see your ad and the title line will read: Digitalpoint.

    If someone else searched for "digitalpoint is the fastest growing webmaster forum on the internet" they will see your ad and the title will read: Webmaster Forums.

    The word/phrase after the : in the title line is the "default" text that will be included is the users query has too many characters to display it in the title line.

    No, it's not. That may play a small role in some industries but as discussed in this thread the opening poster's problems are most likely tied to CTR issues.
