Food costs are going up because several governments and environmental parties havelobied for and passed legislation for Ethanol subsidy and requirement, already in america 5% of fuel produced for transport must be ethanol (Though it is mixed into all their fuel across teh board) Due to this farms once used for growing food are now used for growing ethanol, it is estimated around 1/5th of world farms now grow crops for ethanol production instead of food, not only that but the rainforst is being burned down at a dramatic rate (Not logged) simply to make more farm land for bio fuels. The worst part is the idiotic environmental parties who lobbied for this dis not seem to realise ethanol cannot be transported by pipeline (It is too corrosive) meaning it is instead transported by truck and ships. It is for this reason there has now been severe rioting in 7 countries due to food costs, starvation and famine. Deaths ue to poor nutrition have increased heavily in many third world countries. I am all for the environment but the idiots who run the 'green parties' have no idea of the consiquesnses of what they are doing. The billions they have spent on the global warming myth could have produced hundreds of recycling centres, or subsidised clean industry in China to help slow the pollutant based destruction of the great barrier reef (One of the earths largest oxygen 'generators') With the rainforest and the great barrier reef being destroyed at an alarming rate it is running out of oxygen we need to worry about not carbon. (Gobal warming at this time by the wway is caused by the earth moving out of a mini ice age, we are still several degrees below the earths normal temprature, funnily enough the warmer periods which we are moving towards have been the times of greatest prosperity for the human race, the environmentalist doomsayers however are no better than the religious apocalypse fanatics, they work of a graph that was disproven and uses a formula that actually obliterates the Earths previous warm periods and mini ice ages. for those who point out carbon rises inline with temprature so it must be carbon causign the rise 1) The sea produces over 95% of the worlds carbon 2) The sun heats the Earth up more when it is clsoer 3) The Seas Carbon Expulsion increases as it heats up 4) The Earth is getting closer to the sun as part of its calculated and known orbit 5) This is warming the sea up Although since 1998 tehEarths temprature globaly has gone down, this is caused by a 5 degree wobble on the earths axis that is pointing the pole towards the sun, the ice caps reflect the majority of teh heat cooling the Earth, this wobble is the cause of the increased melting over teh last few years.
