Adword CPC goes up, Adsense clicks go down.

The founders of G just entered into the top 10 Richest people in the U.S.

    Hmmmmmm...

That's because KE has no idea how much anyone is bidding.

But still you can get an idea on how much you need to bid to get 1-3 place. Am I right? Or such keyword tool are unable to estimate the minimym CPC when the QS comes into play.

I am having the same problems with the CPC going dangerously out of control and I have had to stop using them. I can't help but feel if I agree to put my cpc price up then competitors will be forced to do the same thing and thats how the cpc is spiraling out of control!
Maybe we just turn off our accounts for a day and see what that does to their revenue streams!

Surely there must be some guidelines in place to protect us from the above..

There's none. AdWords loves it when advertisers bid higher and higher, for artifical traffic that is fake 30% of the time, according to Click Forensics. That's how they make their cash.
You need a display ad network. Leads and branding all into one. PM me for a couple that I've had success with.

Google can't possibly estimate that, because it depends on your Ranking Quality Score. It'd be different for every campaign, and would even vary for the same campaign from day to day.

I stopped using some of my advertisments because the adword price went too high and noticed that the pricing suddenly came down again.
    Has anyone else noticed this?

There is a campaign level Quality Score, which has some bearing on your individual keyword Quality Scores.

If you turn off the keywords that have the highest minimum bids, it's likely to increase your campaign QS over time, though I'd be surprised if it happened quickly enough to be easily noticeable...
