## Ripping Others Template Becomes A Common Hobby

Today I find another bidding directory which ripped my custom template. It seems ripping template is a common hobby in the year 2009.

find the info at whois and get in touch with the host. tell them whats going on. We had here the other day a similar situation the guy was told to get a hold of there hosting in which he did they suspended the account in a matter of seconds.

 

Yea thats BS there... He straight ripped it as it identical

Contact the domain register or the host and see what can get done.

Happens all the time, there was someone here in the past that more or less copied the logo of a well known directory then had the audacity to challenge the directory over other various matters.

Theres been a fair few directories having their templates ripped in the past, they will even buy a domain as close as they can to a known directory and try and ride off that if they can.

To be inspired by a template is flattering to the designer/owner of the original in most cases but to rip the lot is taking the p**s isn't it.

 

May I ask on how he got a hold of the template? Also, you're logo is much better

LOL. I guess the situation has been resolved because the guy is using a different template now (a free one). I guess the original poster contacted his host and they "persuaded" him to straighten up.
