quite a few people seem quite laid back about the fact google have taken a few thousand $'s off you. Id be gutted if they took $100, although imkinda guessing you probably have that much you can afford to lose it, although id still be pretty gutted because none of us are eer gonna be as rich as google
I would suggest make sure you have solid evidences of your innocence like visitor logs ;ip addresses and refferrers to your website and if any click tracking data if you have saved. It will make your appeal stronger.
The same way I would be laid back about the police taking money from a backrobber... Not exactly sure I understand your point.
well i seen someone say that they will just carry on with their business after they said google took about $8k off them when they shouldnt have, which to me $8k is a fair bit of money and they seemed rather blase (dunno how to get the e with the emphasis on it) about google taking that money
Here's the key boys and girls. While I don't make huge numbers (I envy you guys) you should create more than one account for your sites. I don't that's agains TOS (if it is correct me). That way when they close one acct down you still got 3 left. just my thoughts. Skinny
sounds like you tried to play smart dudes with Google, and they won you were in fact all trying to rip off their company, buying google clicks and reselling it to the same company lol well i understand why you have been banned. thats sad they didnt refund your adwords funds though, they should, but in the meantime they try not to do it because it hurts their reputation (they would have to refund at least dozens of advertisers who paid for the thousands of dollars in clicks).
My mistake . . . I do like playing by the rules. Thought that you could have an adsense acct for each site. Guess not. Well, wheatever you did, Google wasn't happy with it. Skinny
One of the many things that we must keep in mind is that the people who make these decisions at Google are not infallible. From my limited experience, they are under-educated and poorly trained. In addition, their extremely limited English language skills makes it difficult for them to understand much of what you attempt to communicate to them. So yes, "this poster" or "that poster" may not be completely on the up-and-up, but it is logcal to believe that some complaintants do hold valid complaints.
Sure, but it is almost always the exception. I have seen enough of these sob stories and the resultant confession to suspect 95% of the people who come here complaining about it did something wrong. This thread is a perfect example of that.
You did invest your money offline, didn't you? These days you have to diversify or die. I would not put all my eggs in the Google basket if I were pulling in 5K. If I were pulling in that much cash I would be investing in gold, silver, real estate, and stocks in addition to internet businesses.
At the moment some 'back off' Click Defense Provides Update on Google Lawsuit FORT COLLINS, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 8, 2005 Click Defense, Inc. announced today that it is seeking leave to withdraw as a representative plaintiff in the class action it filed against Google, Inc. in the Northern District of California. Click Defense, Inc. is a provider of cutting edge click fraud technology that enables customers to track, report on and optimize their online advertising campaigns. Their software also proactively monitors their campaigns to detect Click Fraud. "We are only withdrawing as a representative plaintiff," said Scott Boyenger, Click Defense's Chief Executive Officer, "in order to concentrate our efforts in helping our clients develop their claims of click fraud. We remain a member of the class and our click fraud claims against Google will still be litigated when and if the class is certified." Click Defense's claims against Google center on the issue of click fraud, and its complaint alleged that Google refused to take steps against it even though the company was well aware of the practice. Click Defense had brought the action on behalf of Google customers who were the victims of click fraud. In light of a pending motion by another potential plaintiff to join in the action and act as representative plaintiff, Click Defense will withdraw as a representative plaintiff. A hearing on the motion for class certification in the Google click fraud case has been scheduled for May of 2006.
I do not believe so, but I just e-mailed adsense-support@google com and asked them if there was a telephone number to call. Stay tuned.
so do you think we will be banned for using other ppc programs? It sounds like Google needs clarify more in their TOS
There should be a de-facto standard on this forum that if anyone has a complaint of Google cutting them off for no reason, they need to post a link to their site, so that the rest of us can judge for ourselves whether their site violates the TOS. It's a waste of time to have a big discussion and make honest businesspeople nervous, if it turns out the person did something to bring the cancellation about themselves.
