Ripped $10,000 from Adsense account

So much a go getter he clicked on your own ads or did something else to violate the TOS?

You can call people morons all you want. I still don't see a link to your site that got banned.

I don't do a fraction of that business with adsense and I have never had any trouble contacting them.

Regardless, you just admitted you violated the TOS. You got punished for violating the TOS. Violating the TOS is bad for adwords advertisers, and it is bad for adsense publishers.

Thanks for posting the truth though. It is always amazing when people come here and complain about how they got screwed and then they eventually admit that they did do something wrong and they did deserve to be banned.

I guess it doesn't matter. You did something to violate the TOS and you got banned. Sounds like the system is working very well, all your protestations aside.

To make it a worthwhile experience perhaps you can explain to your son what you did wrong and how neglecting to pay attention to a legal contract you entered into was a huge mistake.

By the way. I am sure google does not want your money. As an adsense publisher I sure as heck don't want you let back into the program. You and your practices are a huge negative to the system. You are stealing money from other publishers.

I have 10+ sites and to put a link on here would be suicide for them as most rate in in top ten for relevant searches in all top search engines. The sites have just been accepted by bidvister, yahoo, and revenupilot for there advertising so I guess I am back in business.

 

I am glad I came across this forum. I was just on the verge of investing in adwords to drive traffic to my site. I think now I`ll keep my money in my pocket...

Adwords can be good for the right site but I wouldn't ever again send traffic to a site that has adsense on it and rely on that money as part of the income. The main point for me is that having a business that relys on adsense is just crazy there policy basically says we can we can we can .............................and for any other reason we will and they do. I can't take a chance on any of the other reasons but I learnt the hard way. By the looks of it there is nothing anyone can do. The whole thing reminds me of someone who owes you money or something and won't answer the phone, If I don't answer the problem will just go away and seems most of the time it does go away for them.

 

I'm guessing you clicked your own ads and are paying for it. Like someone else said, if you're making $10K, and google makes even more off of that, they aren't going to kick you out for using adwords to get traffic, I promise you that. Fess up and stop complaining, it's getting annoying.

 

Oh! That's horrible. With that amount being paid to me as an SEO specialist, I could have sent tons of traffic and targeted leads. And the best part is that your site could have ranked top 10 in Google and other search engines.

It's not a wise decision to put all your money on adsense.

 

Well mr fess up if your investing that much money it would be pretty silly to click on your own ads. To receive that income I had to get 55000 unique visitor to the site. Thats uniques I only have two friends lol.

 

Why the hell then on Google Adsense first page is this little text:

"More Google tools for publishers

Let our publisher tools work for you to increase traffic, provide smart analytics, or add interactivity to your site."

With a link to:

And there among other is this:

"Drive traffic to your site with Google AdWords
With Google AdWords you create your own ads, choose keywords to help us match your ads to your audience and pay only when someone clicks on them. That is, you only pay when your advertising works."


Now, Adwords are listed on the page called Publisher tools.

So, using their own Publisher tool will get you banned? A little stupid.

 

wait till yahoo and msn ad's go public, google will change their tune.

 

Yeah you think google is going to realize they should allow cheats, stealers and liars back into their program? Or will they sit back and relax knowing all those same people are running roughshod over their competition?

Now you tell me about the increase profits for web sites what eles would you have their adsense ads on your site for, because the look good that must be it. Just amazing that their worth 60 billion dollars.

 

Instead of that though why dont you just start an anti google site and have your story on the main page?
Maybe one day it will get as big as paypalsucks.com

People be diplomatic, im sure we will all be on the recieving end of a search engine one day and when that happens we'll all want to be treated nicely...

Im not condoning your actions, infact as an adwords advertiser and an adsense consumer im probably one of those people you priced out of keywords. So part of me is happy that your banned.

However i have a greater problem with how google behaves, they shouldnt play god. They should be accountable for there actions. There should be a higher body that resides over issues like this. And all search engines should comply with this body.

I believe eventually this will be the case as other engines open up from beta then more accountability from them will result in this higher body being created. After all someone investing thousands of dollars then losing it without a reason why regardless of whether there guilty or not needs to be qualified at the law level. Otherwise its a blatant scam!

Bad on you for abusing the system but badder on google for also abusing there power!

Im sure that in time a reputable law firm will bring together people that have been wronged(whether rightly or wrongly) by google and bring a class action law suite against them.

Im pretty sure that its only time before this will happen.

Good luck google when such a case happens, as with apple, microsoft and other large names before you be prepared to settle out of courts for huge sums of money...
