Here's a good post about online reputation management and dealing with negative remarks in search results: http://www.searchenginepeople.com/b...negative-posts-about-you-or-your-company.html
First and most important is do not tell anyone in this blog what the url is. They will go out to look at it and therefore give the page traffic. Thus, making it harder to push it down. Before you start, remember any negative page in the to 50 will hurt you. And the ROR site has extensive Blog, Forum and experience to defend this. They have been taken to court and they won. They have taken this to US Apeals court and won. Their attorney is very good at this. (Rumor: She was his girlfriend.) People have written nasty letters to them and the letters just get published. Sue them, and they will blog the hearings referencing the document. More negative. It will be an open-ended, costly SEO war. And if you settle, that gets published (not what you paid), just that you settled. Therefore guilty as charged. Blackmail, extortion, criminal etc. Maybe but the First said it is ok. PM me for an overview of what we did with them.
