For those of you that do the whole ringtone thing, what kind of conversion rate do you get? I was wondering to see what kind of conversions ringtones offer.
agree, it depends on the quality of your traffic. Usually I had about 5% in my good times (;-) but of course it can be better..
for me ringtones were never been a profitable source where i should invest... i tried it in overture but the results were not able to convience me to keep them running... resulting in - now i have them offline... visitors are coming from organic listing and m getting few quids on regular interval.
ringtones suck try other stuff like smiley downloads or email submits. email submits are so easy to convert. 33% conv...$1.50 payout....just for an email addy....how easy is that?
these are somewhat easy converts but payout is much less... to each his/her own... as i use a wide arrary on sites some work well soem don't just try try try... and find what works.
You will be suprised how many of them have cell phones. People mostly use calling cards to call oversees, to save on international calls.
