Well, those of us who own proxies and had RightMedia ads on them, it's game over. What bothers me is not so much that they terminated proxy accounts, but the fact that some people earn an important part of their monthly income this way, and before terminating this source of income, they give you 2 days of notice! 2 days! And they give you a bullshit reason, "we don't know what our ads appear next to"! Like they didn't know that when they started the "proxy" category! Just shows they're not serious about business. I've served over 30 million impressions in 6 months, and this is what I get. If you depend on RightMedia in any way, it's probably a good time to already have a few alternatives in mind, just in case.
Yikes. Thanks for the heads up. I was just about to sign up with them to compare their performance with adversal.
30 million impressions in 6 months??? That's a lot. No wonder why you are so upset? You probably made tons of money with it. But you know what?? All good things come to an end eventually. So don't be too disappointed with this. Enjoy the money you made and move to the next big thing.
how do i signup as a publisher for rightmedia.com ?? and what's the difference between it and cpxinteractive ?
to signup for rightmedia go to direct.rightmedia.com the difference is they have different ads and rates.
The problem with proxy traffic is its admittedly the worse type of traffic from an advertiser's perspective. Unpredictable too in terms of where the visitors surf. It almost makes one wanna start up their own advertising company lol.
