RightMedia - Am I missing something here!

    Hi,

I had applied to rightmedia a few days ago and got in. I have applied to a few CPM ad networks listed on that site and have so far got accepted into 2 of them and have not been declined from any so far, which is great.

The problem is, I use VCM and Casale on my sites. They are reputable and I use them because I want to show the best ads on my site and don't want no excessive flashing animation ads, no casino ads, etc. to show on the site because it's family friendly and there is likely to be some younger people using it.

Well with VCM and Casale you can go to their site and select what ads you want to use and which ones to block out. With Rightmedia all you can do it seems is choose your banner, grab your code and then put it on your website. This will obviously mean that the quality of the ads will decrease dramtically on my site because it seems that I can't filter out the ads that I don't want showing.

So am I missing something here or is RightMedia useless for this sort of thing? There's not much point in using it if you can't filter these sorts of ads out, or don't the actual cpm networks allow it either. If they do then would have have to signup directly to these networks and then choose your ads and then apply it to your rightmedia account?

    Please help, thanks.

You can use the tab media guard. You can select a level of creative filtering. Or you can select Customize Media Guard settings. Its very easy to use.
