When will be the right time to ask for guest blog posting on a new blog?

 

Guest Posts have certain pros and shouldn't be underestimated. It's a nice tactics to gather new backlinks and broad your target audience but it has more value for established blogs. Having a blog with a significant number of regular visitors, you only have to create a “write for us” page and place it somewhere in the top menu. Guest bloggers will occur eventually, lured by the traffic your blog generates.
But in this particular case (new blog), bloggers will most likely expect being paid for publishing their content on your website.
While it may be a good way to generate valuable content on your blog, there are much more efficient ways to generate traffic.
Ultimately, it's up to you.

 

First make the authority of blog with backlinks and then you can expect to get people interested in Guest Blogging on your website.

 

Yeah if DR of your blog is high, people want that backlink juice. If you have good traffic, writers would love to get their work up on your site so their writing gets exposure.
Guest bloggers want one of two things: Backlink Juice or Your Audience.
If you have nothing to give, they have nothing to give.
For a new blog, you can't escape the hard work of creating high quality original content to attract traffic to your site. Same if you hire in-house writers, wait for buzz to build up first.

 

Unless your guest blogger actually has some link juice, coming from a an existing blog with some traffic, you are just window dressing with virtually no value to your blog, other than filler.

 

There is no magic formula nor the right timing to ask for a guest post. The more important question would be: who would you like to ask for a guest post? If it is an acclaimed blogger that can bring you traffic and excellent content, correlated to your own blog, it’s always the right time for that!

 

I agree with Gosuperb! There's no right time to ask for a guest post - it all depends on who you want to ask to write for you. However, it's never a bad idea to engage with your future guest blogger before you ask them to write for you.

 

You have increase your domain authority in order to receive guest post from authors. People did not like to guest post on blogs that have low domain authority. zjust keep adding content and build backlinks from high authority blogs as it will help you to increase your domain authority.

 

Be aware that guest posting sites are under surveillance by Google due to the incident that some popular sites are involved in massive submission of contents that intends to manipulate the rankings.

 

You can ask for Guest posting when your website has the good amount of traffic that helps others. Increase your Website or Blog Authority first and also you have the good amount of followers on your Social Channels.
