my site niponwave.com is a wordpress blog. there is a lot of content in any not found page (generated by my wordpress theme) like sidebar links, header and sidebar images, etc. is this good? or should i make it a minimal page. also the title of the not found page shows my site name. is it ok?

    Hi,

The content of the page does not matter to search engines, as long as the page really returns an error code in the http header. There are many free online tools to check http headers.

404 is the right error code for Page Not Found. 403 is for Forbidden or you have no right to access the page/folder.
