Ok for some time now ive been trying to get my pin number (the number that google mails to you to "verify" your contact information), and it just never came. It says they mailed it back in may, and i just kept waiting hoping that it might be delayed somehow. the reason that i didn't ask for a new one is because i figured it would show up the second i did that, and void the old one (that i had recieved) and i would be stuck waiting again for the new pin...ofcourse google doesn't tell you that you can use either pin until after you submit for a new pin number...now google is running public service ads on all my sites because i have had a hold for too long on my account.

im a little pissed. my new pin may not come for some time, and theres no guarentee that it ever will come at all!

i just think the fact that you have 5 holds on your account the second you start adsense is a little ridiculous. it's funny that you have to go through all this crap when they are paying you, but when you are paying google it's a diffrent story.

never really got the verify info yet cause not over 10 cause new to adsense, if they say it was mailed, then maybe it is lose in the mail. three months is a long time. I would let them know and am sure they understand

funny thing is i have never lost or had something lost in the mail my whole life. it just seems very unlikely considering the circumstance that if it really was lost, they would be saving money longer.

you can get the pin verification overridden in case you explain your situation to the representatives :) Try it

    Dont think they'll believe it.

Then spammers/fakes will take advantage :)

If your case is genuine they will definitely do it... and they have a good system in place to know if you are a spammer or not. I did say you can try this but if there is any spam clicks they it will not be overridden :)

Remember the "Golden Rule"... he with the Gold Rules.

You mean nothing to Google. And they already have whatever earnings you have accrued. It took me about 3 months to get my PIN in a similar situation.

Google is not going to be winning and JD Powers awards for customer service. They care very little about publishers at the moment, and with the masses of people willing to "line up to sign up", good luck seeing any changes any time soon.

You have to get a real person on the other end, and that used to be a lot easier than it is now. Google likes to bury every contact under a mass of useless Help Pages.

Guys, You can send mail to adsense support and ask for other verification methods. They can be ready with other documents scan copy to remove hold from your account. They just need some document to verify you. Hope that helps.

well the real thing that gets me is that they ran public service ads with NO warning whatsoever...i am loosing hard earned money here...

and about contacting them- there was no contact email from the adsense help center, i had to google it and find it on a third party talk forum. Even then, when i sent them the email, it bounced back with an automated message giving usless broad suggestions and finally at the end there was a link to a page that was a contact form. but the contact form was a big pain in the ass because you could only send them a message for certain problems you select..and the "pin number difficulty" just had a few suggestions and no way of sending a message. i ended up selecting a diffrent problem (then the pin # one) and just clarifying at the beggining of the form that my difficulty was with pin...RETARTED! My opinion of google has gone from a 10/10 to a 7.

I got mine right away, like 5 days I think. I think you should request a new pin.

Is this PIN thing for new publishers only? Been a member since 2003!

I am not sure how new it is.... All I know is that you receive a pin after you reach 10 bucks in your adsense account.

email them, they will give out alternatives. My first pin was accidentally mailed to Zimbabwe on all places, they traced it and called me on the phone.

8 months after my account was verified the funny pin mail arrived. LOL
