If you're at the South Pole and you

    Walk a mile north
Walk a mile east or west
    Walk a mile south

You will end up back at the same place.

There is one other place on the Earth that you can do this. Where is it?

(Clue: There are actually an infinite number of places)

    Great pub riddle!

    Ok....the answer is....

2 miles from the North Pole!

Anywhere on the circle (hence infinite places) 2 miles from the North Pole.

Here you go 1 mile north and you're 1 mile from the north pole. Then you go either west or east, and you go in a full circle around the top of the Earth, returning to the same point. Then you go 1 mile south back to the original starting point.
