For those who says Ponting is best, then I think it's time to change mind about him, see he even not winning series at home after losing 4th Odi today, they are now 3-1 down. South Africa did excellent job by winning both series in Aussie and I think it's alarm for Aussie to make some changes. Ponting may be sacked now.
Well yes if he lost South African away series which is starting from month end then he will surly sacked as a captain. He was lucky that last match was called off otherwise NZ will surly win the series by 3-2.

Dhoni > Ricky Ponting but its too early to say.. Coz He has just started his career.. theres a long way for him.. But in Overall Performance.. Ponting > Dhoni

No doubt Ricky Pointing is one of best batsmen and he will rated above Dhoni, we know Dhoni comes batting at no.6 or 7 so we can't compare this two batsmen on batting skill
