Seems to simple but... many still don't get it

Rick Gervais holidays message in his hilarious and intelligent way.
A small sample to hook you up:

"Why don’t I believe in God? No, no no, why do YOU believe in God? Surely the burden of proof is on the believer. You started all this. If I came up to you and said, “Why don’t you believe I can fly?” You’d say, “Why would I?” I’d reply, “Because it’s a matter of faith”. If I then said, “Prove I can’t fly. Prove I can’t fly see, see, you can’t prove it can you?” You’d probably either walk away, call security or throw me out of the window and shout, ‘’F—ing fly then you lunatic.”"

You did not make an impact about your beliefs with this post. It was boring.

Actually i thought it was a great point. Trying to prove the existence of a god is futile, pointless, and a waste of everyones time.

Who wants to prove god. Why can't we just go on our daily work and keep god on one side. I believe in god but never so hungry for proof. Even if there is god, he says to worship him we must worship the mankind which means help the poor and the needy. My 60% income goes to charity.

The rules only matter if they are broken - live a straight clean life and die happy - wake up in the Outerworld, no God required.

I thought that was a great article. This part was kind of funny,

I think I've heard that argument before? It may have been with Roman saying, "You better pick the right one!" "You better pick the right one!" "If not, you'll be punished!!" or something like that. :)

    I love Ricky Gervais :)

It's a good point too - I mean, I've seen a lot of religious people clinging to the notion that simply because something cannot/has not yet been disproved that it must therefore be a fact.

    Gervais: "God doesn’t exist."

So the idiot accuses others of having no proof, while he has no proof himself, what a hypocrite.

Anyone making such claims, is classified as arrogant or a moron.

    ;)

Ricky Gervais, certainly one of more gifted comedians out there, and a levelheaded one as well.

How ironic. Why don't you prove yours as well? Prove that God exists before you call someone an idiot.

"Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence." - Some quote I found.

yeah as I see Gervais was a smart guy.
I guess he had a lot of discussion and arguments with believers; hence he knew their way and methods.

I was exposing the fact that Gervais is a hypocrite, and I did a good job.

Why are you getting so upset about it?

I'll comment to the small sample now and maybe to the rest latter .

Prove that I can't fly ? I can trow the person from the 1st floor and he'll hit the ground like a brick .

Prove that God doesn't exist ... Impossible .

No matter how much of a diplomatic glazing you put on a message it's still easy to see it .

That's from Carl Sagan, who borrowed it from Marcelli Truzzi, who borrowed it from Pierre-Simon Laplace. :)
