If your going to be giving a view of your conversations with the hacker, you could at least put in the effort of taking screenshots instead of copying and pasting.

    AGX.COM
    Hi Mark,

You did the right thing closing that thread.

RichUser is not me, and I am the registrant of AGX.COM

He probably saw it on sitepoint where I have listed it for sale.

    http://www.sitepoint.com/marketplace/auction/19570

I know you probably don't like linking to another forum, but given the fact that this RichUser scammer has slurred my name in some way, I'd greatly appreciate a follow up post in this thread, something along the lines of...

AGX.COM is not owned by RichUser, it is owned by forum member MMerlin (Michael Merlin) who is currently offering AGX.COM for sale here
    http://www.sitepoint.com/marketplace/auction/19570

Or if you prefer, I could start a new thread...?

    Many thanks!

    MM

If it turns out that you are not the legal owner of this domain name then I have to remind you that that is fraud and we will do everything in our power to track you down and get the police involved.

We are professional domainers and so far you have not provided any proof at all that you are the legal owner of this domain name.

As any company director would be more than fully aware, high value items can only be paid for via Escrow, to say that payment on this amount of money has to be made via Moneybookers only is absurd, as this offers no guarantee whatsoever to the buyer of any domain name that it will arrive saafely in our account and/or name.

Again, we ask you and require of you to give us your full assurance that you are the legal registrant of this domain name.

    Yours sincerely

    Hello,

I am aware that you can a transaction set up with the person who was chatting with you from this account. If you can take a look at this thread:
    http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?p=6330942

You will see that I was keylogged, and that the person who gained control of my account was trying to scam individuals. Thankfully he never scammed you, and from the looks of it, and from the way he replied to me, he didn't scam anyone.

I ask if you could please retract your negative feedback.

    Thank you,
    Martin

Your losing it buddy. I was not scamming you! Someone else had access of my account! Ask any MOD, they can easily check their logs and see that my account was accessed fraudently. I can provide screenshots of the conversation with the hacker.

The point is I don't care if I get banned over this issue. I've made my points perfectly clear on this issue and these suggestions now that I am the person hacking his account are so ridiculous it absolutely staggers belief.

The mods here are next to hopeless anyway at dealing with these scam merchants and it's about time someone stood up to the issue without fear of somebody coming along waving a big pointed stick, saying you'll get infractions, or worse, you'll be punished by outright banning, simply for bringing it to the communities attention the prevalence of these kind of scammer, con artist activities.

If that gets me banned, then so be it, it's not the end of the world.

Another good idea is posting screen shots of these pm's, if you'd like.

I would rather look at screen shots then paragraphs of text. :D

The purpose of posting up his pm messages, was purely to show the sequence and timing of events, including the rather remarkable coincidental timing of him receiving his account back as he purports by this mystery hacker that he keeps whittling on about.
