Hi. Does someone know how long does google take to show reviews in snippets (after implementing microformats)?
[h=4]1. Pick a markup format.[/h] Google suggests using microdata, but any of the three formats below are acceptable. You don't need any prior knowledge of these formats, just a basic knowledge of HTML. Microdata (recommended) Microformats RDFa [h=4]2. Mark up your content.[/h] Google supports rich snippets for these content types: Reviews People Products Businesses and organizations Recipes Events Music Google also recognizes markup for video content and uses it to improve our search results.
I've seen it happen in as little as a few days, but it's really hard to say. I think as time goes on implementation and display of snippets will get faster and be more prevalent.
There is one request form . fill that form an let them know. http://support.google.com/webmasters/bin/request.py?contact_type=rich_snippets_feedback
You don't need to fill out the request form anymore as it's picked up automatically. Whether they display or not is dependant on the query, for example they probably wouldn't show if the user searched for 'product name' but if they searched for 'product name review' then they are more likely to show up. Obviously that makes the assumption you have integrated the review type of rich snippets.
Hello everyone, I am planning to implement this Rich Snippet, to my under develop classifieds ads website. The question is, can I implement this and apply the Product markup for my site?
@Primeadv Thank you for the input, but I've researched a lot after asking the above question. And google's documentation about Rich Snippet does not support classifieds ads, with regard to http://schema.org/Product. But through extensive research, Ive discovered another vocabulary for classifieds ads.
