Found an online version of the commercial I saw last night on G4TV http://www(dot)asseenontvnetwork(dot)com/richjerk/ Code (markup): Well I'll pipe in first, I think the condescending attitude promotes his 'image'. tom
I was shocked (I saw it on G4TV as well)! The book was inspiring but I didn't feel like it was a full system. People who don't have any experience with making their own websites need a lot more information. I bought the book to increase conversion rates and in the book he gives you a sales letter but he doesn't tell you how to presell visitors like he does with his old sites that he uses for examples. Sure SMC, ebay and other dropshift type infomercial programs have their problems but they make sure you get your site up and running properly and at least you get better conversion rates. I'm not completely down on the book, my conversion rates did increase but they were extremely low to begin with and I have yet to implement a real review section so my conversion rates could be a lot better. I just don't think that people without any experience will get much out of the book.
So does anyone know who this guy really is? I am willing to pay $200 to the first person that can find out who he really is...my bet is his net worth is no where near $1m.
I havent seen g4tv since they took judgement day off the air. Now its just the man show/star trek channel.
I'm the "Rich Jerk", really just a "Jerk", but once I get the $200 I'll be "Rich"! Oh, and you are right, I'm not worth $1million, but if I get another 4999 people to give me $200 I will! Ok, remember to send the money via paypal. Thx, tom
How can u trust someone who hides his own identity? He is just a fakie, but no doubt his idea kicked off pretty fine, he might become a millionaire selling those ebooks as so many sites are being daily built about THE RICK JERK
I think you're right. That was the guy they thought was the Rich Jerk when the book first came out. I can't remember whether it was Digitalpoint.com or WarriorForum. He sold a few sites for around $300,000 so I know he probably has close to if not more than $1 million dollars. Affiliate books in general are horrible, so he didn't have to do much to make a good affiliate book. Just look at all the crap on amazon.com. His book and sitesell's preselling are the only two I find useful at all.
Check out The Kelly Felix Bio WTF? He's an actor! lol and yes this is the same Kelly Felix. His username at webmaster world was kellyandsummer. In his bio it shows that his wife's name is summer. Also search for the rich jerk on ebay and kellyandsummer is the "The only authentic, authorized Rich Jerk seller on Ebay". Him and his wife, and she worked to support him when he was making his first site. http://www.workathometruth.com/rich-jerk.php?PC=-nav-A/index.php&K=
If the jerk wants to make money, why can't he follow his own advises instead of doing a costfull TV-commercial? Obviously he just see his own solutions as a great thing to write in his book. He may have earnt a little by following such strategies. But in the end, he's book sales earns way more.
I don't understand why anyone would buy that. Looks to me like one of those get rich quick ebooks... may as well just read forums for free than waste your time on something like this.
three words: late night G4TV put those together, and I think they give away time. G4TV has really declined. Just a guess. tom
Some people would rather pay a small fee so that they can have all the information in a neat little package. I have purchased it myself and it is what got me started in online marketing. It is not a get rich quick scheme but rather puts all the bits and pieces of marketing information together, which yes you can find on here or other places, and provides it all in a nice layout for easy reference.
He is kelly felix cuz in the ebook he mentions a helpfull website wich is his refferralink. And in the website it says at the bottom.................. "This website is supported by kelly felix" or something like that. So yeah, it is him.
A big problem that I have with his sales letter and copy write system is that most people who use it tend to lay it on too thick. You end up with a hyped up sales letter instead of real anti-marketing copywrite. I saw a few of his sites and the copy was very toned down compared to the sales letter technique in his e-book.
Not a big deal. Not like he is that rich anyway. Many people who make more than he does with very ungalmourous professions. You have a greater chance of getting rich using the tired and true methods (good job, good education, good investments) than trying to peddle junk online. JMHO.
Why do you care if he's rich? The point is that you're talking about it, which means, rich or not, his marketing has worked and he's definitely made ALOT of money from his ebook. All the 'is he rich?' 'why does he sell his info' and 'who would buy it' questions aren't relevant. I haven't bought it, if I wanted it I would probably just download it from warez, but you should be looking at his marketing technique, not his ebook.
Because of the most powerful secret to success I was given. "only take advice from those who are in positions you want to be in." nuff said, tom
