I'd say it's pretty effective marketing, every one who read this post is now aware of "the rich jerk" and everyone who replies only helps him get more exposure. I read his book and while it doesn't really have any groundbreaking info, it does contain valid information that can be effective if applied.

His real name is Kelly Felix, I doubt he really personally wrote those emails. He's really rich, not neccessarily a jerk. No need to take anything he says personally, its all marketing. Chill.
I think the real problem is you have more info than most on him .. so he comes across as a rich ass...vs a JERK.. lol

This reminds me a bit of Henry Mencken's quote - "No one ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American public." Love him or loathe him the Rich Jerk has made millions from this "I'm better than you and don't give a shit what you think" approach. As we paste his e-mails (and leave in his affiliate links!!!) we are doing exaclty what he expected. It's more free press for him and ultimately more sales. Colm

This is a way old thread dudes. Rich Jerk often uses The Warrior Forum to make a buck or two. In my view - hes done well, he is of course the originaator of the arrogance approach towards Marketing, and yes he is a millionaire.
Theres comedians all over the world saying things tens times worse every day, a lot of them saying it on mainstream TV to. If things are said as a joke why get offended by them.
