it depends. because, Filipino chooses rice over noodles, while some asian chooses noodles. But I go for noodles.
I prefer Ramen Noodles unspiced and mixed with Cheez Wiz. A few times done before I moved into an EXQUISITE Independent Living facility. I would take Ramen Noodles and save the spices for a rainy day (not use it) and boil them and drain off most of the water. Then I would add a couple good dollops of Cheez Wiz, NEVER generic, EVER! The real Cheez Wiz. Expensive, but d*** GOOD! Save the I.L. facility for future topic.
Reading the title reminded me of being in a chinese fast food restaurant. In the Chinese fast food scenario, I would chose noodles, but regularly I would have rice.
White rice is one of the most unhealthy things you can eat. Brown rice is better. But noodles are way better than rice.
I like to eat Rice, and my Favorite rice dish is Chicken Biryani. But some time i eat Nodal. if my Mom cook.
Me also like noddles a bit more than rice. Actually noddles is pretty nutritious food which contain much calories. I read bad effect about rice. Mr. Aaron Barchowsky, a professor in the department of environmental and occupational health at the University of Pittsburgh's Graduate School of Public Health said, "It's complicated, but I don't agree with what Consumers Union says -- that we should avoid rice," And he also said that "I agree with the FDA and its ongoing study on rice content. Eat a balanced diet and don't focus on one food group. That's always good advice."
Dear xAlexkimx, I think you're a pretty conscious and smart person concerning health issue as well. Brown rice contains a lot of minerals such as selenium and magnesium. Brown rice is very high in fiber as well as a good source of anti-oxidant. It releases sugars slowly thats why brown rice is a a better option for diabetics.
