    So are you saying I need more text content on the homepage? Or somehow sell the recipes to the homepage visitors?

    The homepage needs way more text and the layout needs to be reworked.
    No <h1> on the homepage at all either. The actual recipe/content pages are fine but I'd consider looking at making a proper navigational menu instead of bulletted lists for nav throughout the site.
