I'm currently looking at buying a mod for an arcade that I do not have the time to make for myself. What I want is a high scores mod. If you do not know how this is done, I will not be able to explain it to you on this one. Preference would to be a mod for FAS 2.0. It is a free script and you can have a copy of the files to work with. I will do the integration into the site, not you, so you do not need to worry about how to alter the template to display high score info etc. All you need to worry about is accepting/recording the high score through an included file and entering it into the database. If it is not done up for FAS, I might be able to adapt it, but will not be willing to pay as much, and I will still expect full rights to it. It needs to be loaded as a separate file and only if a score is submitted. It needs to be written in such a way as I can read through it. I will read through it, looking at such things as security holes. You will need to coordinate with me on such things as variables passed. I will get all rights to the code. I will not play games with people on this. If the code is not yours to sell, don't sell it to me. If you are interested submit a proposal to me or ask for more info if needed. I'm probably going to be back and forth from the computer most of the time, but I do respond eventually. This is the first time in a month that I have even been able to log on to DP, bear with me please. Been very busy on my end. If/when this goes forward will depend on a lot of things, including price. It is not a certainty at this point. I will probably also be looking for a second mod in the very near future for a Mochi games grabber. Same rules as above.
Having been asked, I thought maybe I should answer some things here so I don't have to retype it all in PM more than once. Having been told differing things, I can only tell you what it is I want. I would like to be able to have Mochi games save their high scores to my own database. Some have indicated that this is not possible, others say it is. I would also like for it to be able to allow games written for IBP and PHPBB arcade to save their high scores to my database. If there are others that you know of, I'm all ears and willing to take a look at them as well. As for a budget, I'm not sure on this one. That's why I'm asking for proposals. If it's more than I can squeeze out of my budget, I will have to forgo. I'm looking to keep this on the cheap though, if possible, so I'm not looking for you to integrate it into the script. From what I know, it is possible to add it by having the index.php file look to see if certain variables have been set, and if they have been, load up an include file to read and store the data as required. I do not need you to change my template to display high scores etc. I have more than just time constraints, I have budget constraints as well. If you have a number of games that are high score compatible, yes, I would be interested in them. I would need the game files, thumbs, and descriptions. I can port from your database structure to mine if need be, but I will need a copy of your database structure along with the SQL dump to do it.
