RFC: Building application for creating/updating/modifying blog networks

I'm currently developing an application which will be used to scrape, build, post, update to various blog networks managed within the system. Essentially it's a wordpress mu splog tool, however It will have other features than just stuff for wordpress mu.

The tool itself is coded in PHP with a mysql back end, and will require a linux hosting account, virtual private server, or dedicated server to utilize. The more power your server has, the better the application works. (And it can use every bit of cpu power you throw at it).

    Current Feature List:

    • Scraper (Scrapes wordpress MU installations from search engines)
    • Blog Creator (Creates new blogs based on scraped data)
    • Post (Allows you to post articles in a variety of different methods to blogs)
    • Network Management (create/manage many blog networks at a single time)
    • Randomization (The color codes for blogs within a network are randomized)
    • WPMUAds (allows you to modify the sidebars of blogs within a network setting up text links, or various advertisements on the blog)

This is essentially it for the time being. The application is still in development, not all features above are 100% integrated into the system. I hope to release it for sale at the end of April, hopefully before then.

So, my Request For Comments from users is this:

#1) Do you have a use for such an application?

#2) What features would you like to see added?

Thanks in advance. I'm looking for some user feedback as to what might be nice to add.

Example, social networking features, automatic creation/installation of standard wordpress blogs on domains, management of normal wordpress blogs (not wpmu), etc.

The more specific you get the happier i'll be.

I suspect that there would certainly be a market for such a tool.

Some features that I wouldn't mind seeing:

#1 - I know you have a randomization feature, but the ability to spin or alter posts across the network would be helpful.

#2 - The ability to crosslink if desired

#3 - Integration with some web 2.0 properties that carry some weight in Google (quizilla, tumblr, etc.)

    Just a few suggestions.

It's been done. Its called 'autoblogging' and its an upgrade from contentboss.com. You also forgot one of the most important things - the ability to make posts truly unique, while keeping them readable.
