RewriteRule: cannot compile regular expression

    Here is my error:

    .htaccess: RewriteRule: cannot compile regular expression '([a-zA-Z0-9\\-\\_]*?)\\.html'\n

    Does anyone know why am I getting this error? I'm going to smash my head. It works on localhost but my server don't like it. :(

    Try using:

    ([A-z0-9_\-]+)\.html
