Buying Rewrite and update product descriptions (long-term collaboration needed)

    I need rewritten descriptions for software products listed on my website. The rewritten software descriptions must be original but also logically correct. Basic understanding of how software works is of the essence. Here is what you need for this job:

    - Good English vocabulary and grammar (native English speakers preferred)
    - Ability to rewrite descriptions and produce original and technically correct content
    - Follow guidelines for text and content formatting
    - Retain the information from the initial text
    - You must be willing to repeat this project for an undetermined period of time
    - You must be an independent freelancer (no teams please)
    - Provide some samples of your previous work
    - Rewrite a small sample for me (2 descriptions will be providen to be rewritten). If the rewrites are good, the test rewrites will be paid.

    Price: 6 USD per 500 words

    I find it funny that you think people should be willing to write unique samples for you. This is spec work, and only people new to the business will do that. I guess that's who you're targeting.

    This is also funny:

    You can't ask someone to be available to you for some nebulous amount of time in the future. Even contracts have specific dates. If a writer is loyal to you it's because they like you and are comfortable working with you. it's on you to create that kind of environment, but somehow I suspect that this isn't your priority.

    Just an FYI. The OP (vexx) and I wrote back and forth several times about the project. I sent him samples of my work and re-wrote 2 product descriptions for him in good faith. I didn't hear back from him for a few day, so I followed up. He said he was traveling and would forward the samples to his Head of Editing or Editing Director or something like that.

    After that, nothing. No communication or replies.
