To kick off my new blog I have decided to do a case study on bringing an old dead site back to life and decided to share it with you lucky digitalpoint readers ;)

    http://www.xeit.com/revive-an-old-site-case-study/

I'm basically sharing everything, the website, budget, everything along the way - feel free to join in and share your thoughts and we'll see how this turns out ...

If anyone wants to join in, go digg up an old rusty site and we'll see what we can do with it...

Good luck! The Wordpress + VB seems to work very well for many people, most notably Steve Pavlina :)

If and when you do manage to get your content to go viral, I would love to hear more detail about that, as it is something I haven't been able to do at all. Then again, the travel content that I publish might not be as link worthy...

There's always a way to make any content go viral - you just have to think of an angle ;)

It will be interesting to see how your ad budget works out for your site.

I would be interested in how the paid post and stumbles work out for you.

Yeah, the budget's not set in stone at this point - more for testing to see what works.
