Revitalizing dormant Facebook Fan Page

About a year ago, I began a Facebook Business or Fan Page. I had success in creating quite a few likes and I was able to create a fair amount of interaction with the people who liked me. Because of unexpected personal commitments, the page became dormant over a six month period of time. Now that I have back to posting on the page, my posts receive little interaction (likes comments, etc). Are there suggestions on how I can resurrect interest in my page.

    Hi Bob,

The issue here is about how big your page is and how long since it was not active. I managed to restore some pages from dormant stage using several methods, but the best yet is to invest a bit in advertising. Fb will automagically bring your page back to life. You should also keep in mind fb's future plans: pages under 500k fans will have a reach with -. This means that every small page will have to pay to show posts to fans.

    Hope this helps,
    Darius
