I was reading one of my trade journals yesterday and there was some info about a good-sized company making a change in their email campaigns. They decided to include customer reviews and ratings in the email. Two things happened. 1. Their customer response rate rose by 10%. 2. Their sales per visitor number rose by 12%. Just thought I'd share. I often see people ask if testimonials matter, and here's more proof of it's power. The company also saw a dramatic spike in people leaving reviews.
yup that makes sense. i know id be more likely to open an email if i knew other people had found it to be interesting, informative or insightful
