    Reviews forum FAQ.

Most of the forums and sub forums on Digital point have some FAQ, so I planned to make one for the reviews. With the pro members help, we can give a nice informative FAQ on reviews.

Most people, who join Digital Point, are new and are not aware of the rules. The new ones are also not allowed to post in all the buy/sell trade categories. But they are allowed to post in the reviews. So this little help, will be helpful for them.

If you have a website to review, please go here.
If you want some seo answers please go here.

Try to contribute before asking for reviews. These days web masters have lot’s of web sites, so if you post all those one by one, it will be a real hell of a time for all, so it is suggested that you make a well planned post when you go for a review. Please mention what kind of a review you want and on which sites.

Here are a few points to help you:
    1) If you are on the reviews forum, feel free to post your link, so that you get a targeted review to be precise. If you have live links permission, which takes about 25 posts and over all green reputation, you can write your website’s or blog’s title or any keyword and hyperlink it. If you don’t have live links, then just post your full URL, interested people will copy-paste your URL in their browsers. I would like to suggest you, please wait till you have live links, before asking for reviews.

    2) Please don’t ask twice for a review of the same site. This is probably considered as spam. So, if you are asking for a review, please note all the points, on which you want a feedback, so that you don’t have to start a thread again. Also sometimes we forgot that we had got a review or not, so use the search in that case.

    3) Don’t be harse on the members who do a review. People may, may not like your site, blog etc. so you can get a bad review, try to use the comments to develop your site, don’t get angry. Having said that, people who make reviews, please don’t give stupid reviews. “nice site”, “well done” etc reviews statements don’t really help anyone.

    4) People who are doing a review, take these points in your answer, google page rank, keyword ranking in search engines, traffic, template, site indexing in search engines, unique content, cached pages etc..

If you are thinking reviews are the best place to increase your post count or give you free visits to your site than you are wrong. To review a site, is a professional’s job, and this is done to help people make a better site or something. Try enjoying the reviews forum, because it is here, that you get to surf a lot of websites, and have your comments on them. Also if a particular comment that you give, is taken into consideration and the site or a section of it is changed as per your review, it sure will make you feel a lot better, so keep reviewing. Cheers!:)
