    Hi there,

I'm looking forward to re-launch my Nintendo Wii blog and I have a dilemma. In the old version of my blog, i tried to post 1 review per week and some news whenever i had the time. Now, I'm wondering if i should focus on reviews or on news. With reviews, I should be able to continue posting 1 review per week VS 5-6 short news every week.

So, what should I do ?? Are reviews really getting more traffic than news ?? What would you do ??

    Thank you

I'd try doing 1 review and 2-3 news updates a week. Try to put in some variety.

IMO reviews are always better than news.

There is no guarantee that your news can reach to page1 in searches, but there is ample scope for a good review.
a news article becomes old and loses interest quick - in a matter of days infact.

But reviews stand for a long time and generate decent traffic through out the existence product in most cases.

there's a great book on the whole technographics side of things,
i.e. the way people use online/social media technology. (see link below)

depending on the target audience, different type of content works
differently: some prefer to be actively involved (reviews are better,
especially if users can comment and/or leave their own reviews),
others prefer to look from the sidelines (news might be better).
and all of this depends on the country where you're using it.

    here's the book:

(sorry, can't post URLs yet, you'll need to copy it)

(make sure you get the original (full) edition, not the later, abridged version).
pretty much a must-read for anyone creating content on the Internet)

The best way to attract dedicated visitors to your blog is to offer them something unique, that is your reviews. You can put in some news when you have a gap in writing reviews.

The best way is go for both but not overdo it especially review, don't make it so fake to drive off buyer.
News you should use reputable news release company.
