ReviewMe: My First Offer

I had a pleasent surprise yesterday - my first ever ReviewMe offer landed in my email inbox. Perhaps not the most inspirational subject area, safety notices, but nonetheless quite an easy review to write and $30 payment for only 10 minutes of effort. I gave them quite good value too - twice as many words as the minimum and an image too. For anyone not using ReviewMe yet I can recommend it as a blogger - even if you don't get any offers you're still getting a bit of free exposure and a backlink.

    Thumbs up from CountryBoy!

I don't think it's just page rank, it's a combination of page rank, alexa and backlinks I think.

On the contrary, I think it is just dependent on PageRank - I got accepted as soon as my blogs hit PR4, even though traffic (ergo Alexa) is quite poor (less than 50 uniques per day on that particular blog). Not too many backlinks to that one either - maybe 100 in total.

    Why was my blog rejected?

To be accepted into ReviewMe, a blog must meet a minimum number of citations, subscribers, and traffic. If your blog is rejected, you may want to return in a few months' time and submit again.

Sure I saw it somewhere. Doesn't actually mention PR there either. But going by what you said, I dunno, maybe they pick and choose as they feel.

Well, I've had a PR5 blog in there for 6 months and haven't had an offer yet.
