Problem: No link to independent reviews on your site creates a point-of-disconnect, people start to search for reviews elsewhere and some will definetely fail to return to your website. You might try just posting an overview of what your product/website/business does and let it find its own feet(market)?
Mrdigital, You are right that people return after reading reviews, but not all. Some will find no reviews or negative reviews and change their mind. Some will find good reviews but fail to return to your site for some reason. Some will find your competitors website. All of them are your customers you have failed to convert.
