Review Web Development Website (InfernoDevelopment.com)

My website offers tutorials/articles and a forum (though I am considering porting it to MyBB if I can install it) for Computer Engineers, Computer Scientists, programmers, and web developers and designers.

    http://www.infernodevelopment.com

I am hoping to launch a strong community in this field.

Also I feel like Computer Engineering is a niche of itself, since no one really has a site dealing with that.

What do you think? Do you like the site? The layout? The ideas? Any ideas that can help me tone my target audience and niche for a better audience? Any ideas for linking?

Thanks for the advice, I'm always open to new advise/thoughts.

Yes, good overall design, maybe a bit to much free space on the right side. The menu looks good.

The design is simple and professional. The space for content is very wide which is much suitable for tutorial sites.

Thank you all for the input. Really I'm glad the hours in photoshop is helping! :D
I'm trying to put up a better forum.

I have a question though, do you think, that this site can get popular if there is enough quality tutorials? Or am I really working a very dead-end niche?

Or should I focus more on a forum community?

Yeah I'm just not sure yet how I can promote it well. Spending money is one idea. Sometimes I submit to directories but they usually don't ever add the website. The only real way to promote it seems is to have signature links. Comments are a way to promote but a big hassle and no-follow usually.

the logo for me doesn't look to sharp, also the flame could be scaled up more

the ad and the articles are separated, but there seems there isn't any separator between the articles and they could use that.

The overall layout and color scheme its good.

I couldn't find a good font like it. So I actually edited a font, hence it's not that sharp. If you know a font that looks like that, I would appreciate it.

Thank you so much for your constructive criticism. That's a great idea for a separator.
