Review my site how to make money online for beginners blog - www.ambabo.com Also review the visual appearance of my site. Thank you.
Ambabo, you already have many good things but there is lot of space for improvement. As I was reading your blog posts specially "8 Beautiful Mistakes Bloggers Usually Do" you mentioned "build the community" alright!.. so why not a facebook connectivity plug-in in your own blog site. place it. As only good bloggers use it it will help make a good reputation of your blog. One more thing, check your post "Bloggers Must Know About Robots.txt Optimization Tips" you have placed a good adsense block code. its not only looking ugly but making the post "hard to read" for your visitors. remember, you should make a site user friendly not always considering small pennies in mind . money will flow automatically if there will be plenty of readers liking your blog. moreover, instead of text block of google adsense you could you graphic/banner one . graphics has better capabilities to attract and hit visitors than text one moreover, advertisers which pay you far better than good adsense do not like too much adsense and good link builders say big "NO" to exchange link with web sites. Personally I have experienced that there are plenty of effective ways to earn money in a good manner e.g. text link advt, banner advt. etc. Spacing between lines seems a little too much. It seems you try to fill up page with small content. in your CSS file you can set line height 18-19px will be fine and so the many bloggers use it. and at the last, though you have a specific "archives" page I would love to suggest you make to show "archives" on home page side bar section categories by months.
Have you thought about adding adsense? From my point of view its TOO clean and need to be filled with stuff, like anjali said a chatlog, or a twitter update function, or a newsletter.
Vijay, there are few more suggestions 1. Facebook share button and retweet sharing buttons are good things to place in your blog post and there are extremely easy to add. last night I used both of them in my own word press template I am designing nowadays . settings are simple and if you have problem with them then, "share this" is one stop solution . 2. Ads. Its my personal experience I do not think google adsense is the best way to bring revenues. I personally feel its ok with newbie sites which are not having good search engine ranking. you know no SERP means no traffic, no money so its good to earn some pennies just from some clicks but it leads 2 main disadvantages (a). good quality link builders do not like websites having lot of advts. everywhere like yours. and it is very improtant to build good links otherwise your site will have no SERP so no big money (b). most of advertisers say a "no" because of lot of adsenses/advt. (c). the problem with google adsense is you have to fill it everywhere to push your site visitor to click on them so your site obeviously will not be a user friendly site and only history knows that only user friendly sites win the race. (d). you do not have control on adsenses a lot. its possible you are displaying you close competitor website in your advt and people can jump their. I earned 100$ from google adsenses in last 3 years from my 40 websites and when I removed them I found advertisers who are paying for their advt e.g. 100$ per year for a single advt so may be google adsenses can bring some pennies intially yet its blocking a blog flow of money to you. 3. wherever you are showing codes in your posts for example User-agent: * Disallow: /yourfolder/ you can use a small grey box around this to show this separate from regular content. good bloggers take care of it. .you have to write few line in css e.g. .codegreybox{ border: 1px solid #eee; background: #ccc; } in post you could do like <div class="codegreybox"> User-agent: * Disallow: /yourfolder/ </div> Kindly notice above code is not tested. test at your end. I just write in flow.
I have done it soo...more than the "share this" i have an bookmark for each and every posts. Why not Google adsense should not be in my site. Page Rank is only matters to get custom ads..? How the beginners are getting PR from the beginning?
Google tool bar PR matters for those who want to take text link ads. Getting PR seems quite easy . 1. submit your site into seo friendly directories (300 per month not more than that). exchange one way links from quality/relevant web sites/blogs . write a unique top quality article and submit into 100 article directories per month this will include one to two do follow links to your site.. do all above more than 3 months and you would get PR3 . then you can sell text ad links. generally prices are 25-30$ per year for single text link advt but I prefer banner . banner can be set nofollow and if you register cj.com you can find lot of affiliates banner codes etc to place on your website to earn good money. but last and most important thing is you should concentrate to bring real traffic to your website money will come itself
your site totally nice look sir.. maybe you need to add more design in your logo... its just my opinion good luck
nice website, but the colour of the logo is out of sync with the rest of the blog and it totally copies engadget.com's logo. not cool bro.
I will change the Logo soon as possible. @Yezdi, You mentioned that submit site to 300 article directories, how could i find the directories to submit the site. Most of the them are paid directories to submit. I have already submitted my site to Google, Yahoo, Ask, and so on.... Can i get the PR if i replied to 1000's of forums in digitalpoint..?
