ericbedner, who is Sagar Rai? I am being brutally honest here, okay. So don't get upset. Firstly, I am a realtor in the Toronto, Canada area for almost 25 years. Okay, the site looks excellent. I really like the layout and bright colors. It's definitely user-friendly. However, the content is weak. I just scanned through all the articles in the "real estate tricks" category and it is super-basic and obvious. I was trying to put myself in the shoes of the average first-time buyer, who has little to no experience, while I was reading through that section. And it's all just common sense stuff, like buy low and sell high. There were no "tricks" there. One thing that has come in loud and clear to me over the years in my real estate biz and now online is this: Deliver What You Promise! If your category says "tricks", then have some tricks or you lose credibility.

I didn't read through the other categories so I can't comment there on the content but I'm sure you get my drift about the deliver what you promise.

So, just beef up your content and you're golden.

    Cheers,

    Roofy.

Thanks for feedback on my content BUT honestly I wanted some feedback on my design. Is the background color matching to header. I needed site design feedback. Anyways I appreciate your feedback.

    Hi,
    The site looks good.
The color of background image is quite matching with your main logo, try to use some solid dark color or dark color picture.

From a usability point of view, your design is a nightmare.

The "hot" orange background puts pressure on the visitor to do something or get out. I suspect they will get out. The background is supposed to be just that, BACKGROUND, not competing with the message.

It doesn't really make any difference, however, since you have so many Calls to Action, and competing colors and images that I suspect your conversion rate will be incredibly low.

It is kind of a joke to say "My Picks" and then have zero information on who you are.

Your rotating flash image will drive a bunch of people nuts and puts even more pressure on the visitor to get out. It is ok for some, but many can't stand it and will just hit the back button. If you want to keep it, install a "pause, play" function so that the user has control. Take a look at www.vsplash.com.

You have no CONTACT information on your contact page and no About page, so no one knows who you are. Is this supposed to inspire confidence? Is this supposed to validate you as an expert?

Next to the word CUSTOM in your description, you need to add the word AMATEUR.

Spend some time searching on Google for websites in your industry. One thing I can promise you, the best ones will look nothing like yours.

Your website is good. You choose the right theme with a lot of feature on it. The color is match for your content, but for better choose plain color background with orange gradient.

As a user trying to get something out of your website I found the orange background irritating, try to go for something soothing or stick to classic colors and patterns. Instead of going for flamboyant colors try going for trusted combinations.
