The blog is nicely designed but I think you have a little too many ads on the page you should remove the first adlinks ad at the top of the page.
Great theme and I'd say your add placement is fine, they just stick out because there blanks now. I do think your logo could use a little work. The coloring is good, but I'd maybe try a different font as your site is clean and sharp I'd like to see the font be the same. Very nice work for your first go around!
