Navigation bar hurts my eyes, because its just too red..and I would do something with those pictures..just organize everything so it wouldnt look like a garbage..you know what I mean?
Yes, the red nav bar hurts my eyes as well. You probably shouldn't go for two different shades of red. It's a strong colour anyway, and a very little goes a long way. Also, you seem to have a lot of empty whitespace on the top two paragraphs. Make the text wrap around the pictures and it will look better.
-PLEASE DONT USE CAPS EVERYWHERE ON YOUR WEBSITE< IT IS HARD TO READ.. get my drift? -The header should match the size of the body -Kudos on the red -White space is great.. if utilized properly. But the white space on your page isnt utilized properly. Use Tables and Cells (even if they are invisible) they help make whitespace manageable -your title "Home" leaves little to the imagination. And doesnt help the Search Engines -your site map doesnt show properly in Firefox.. however, shows fine in IE altogether. its a good start! when i first got into webdesign (i suppose in the mid 90s) i went to a search engine and typed in Microsoft Nike McDonalds Apple Sony ... etc I went to all the big brand name websites and studied what they did. At the time Flash was getting popular and I hated flash sites and about 1/4 of the major corporations used flash to some extent. So i discounted those. I grabbed tidbits of design from these major sites. Such as Colour Scheming, Use of tables/cells, Header Placement, Header Style etc... I then went one step further and typed in keywords that had high se placement im an outdoorsman so i typed: Fishing Hunting Boating i visited the top sites there and found out what made them good in a design perspective. and you can go one step further and type in a keyword and go to the 30-50th page in google and click any link you want... and you will see examples of bad design. Load up the topwebsite, and a very low website and open up the browsers side by side... you will learn a thing or 2. good luck with the site!
Could not help but notice that you mention on your site: "the new Shoemoney E-Book that talks about how to get a skinny body and a fat bank account" When will the book be available? I'm totally stroked about this!
For the header graphic, I would drop that navy box behind the text and instead maybe use the navy for the text color and give it some depth (add a drop-shadow.) It (the header) should extend to the width of the table below it. Good Luck!
Ditto to all the the above suggestions. I might add -- try a different font like Georgia, Tahoma or anything other than Arial. Pls check spelling of 'Before' on top of the before/after pics. All the best!
See dude i am not good at this still will try to tell something about your site : Your site does not appear full (broken) dont know might be the template is like the same Your site is good and has good keywords too Nice Site overall i will give 7/10
