    The thing that caught my eye right off the bat was to many ads right at the top. Plus the asking for donations button right off the bat may turn people away.

    The blog description is good at the top. Also, colors look nice. The donation button doesn't need to be at the top. Most people won't donate anyways. Your ads should be at the top though.
    Other than that just keep the content interesting, and updated!
