Great idea! Some thoughts: Add a color picker to automatically add the color code to the form field. (Check out the free Tigra color picker) Allow multiple text lines (don't know if this would be possible) Give some guidelines about badge and font size (maybe set a maximum) - you could also show some example badges on the page. (Maybe an idea for future development: allow people to upload their own background image) Show the preview on the page instantly instead of using a mouseover link I like your design - it's clean and simple - but personally I'm not very fond of the color you used. Also, a font like Verdana looks nicer and is easier to read. It might also be a good idea to make the title a little bigger, so it stands out.
