    Review this Amazon ebook cover maker please, very easy to use

    Hi,
    I have made this ebook cover maker:

    I have attached a sample book cover it made, (made it small for this site), actual size made is large for Amazon and is according to Amazon size requirements.

    Its very easy to use. You can just click on "Styles and colors" link of the element you want to edit, select new settings, and then move to next one.
    Finally, click "Make cover" button and cover will be made, ready to be uploaded on Amazon.
    You can view it in different sizes to make sure it looks good on all amazon pages. Thumb, product page, zoomed.

    You can do various things, like:
    Change colors, fonts, and size of elements,
    You can position them using "margin" value.
    You can make the picture as full background, and write text on top of the image, like photoshop.
    Or, you can position picture above or below titles.
    Text layers can be made into gradient or rainbow coloring, and can have shadows if you like.

    To do gradient in text, simply give 2 or more colors. One main color of element, plus one or more additional colors.
    Starting from main color, text will be made gradient, transforming into other colors you gave.
    This sample image has main red color in title, and 3 others (blue, orange, and green)
    There is a color selector next to each color value box.
    Right now, I have only allowed gradient/rainbow in main title.
    Shadows and emboss and backgrounds are allowed in secondary title also.

    Its suited to work on mobile also, but small mobile screen will not give you complete idea of things.

    If pixelation happens, then please remove the emboss/shadow styles and try without those.
    Gradient coloring should be fine.

    Your sample... the graphics are really low quality. They need to be flawless!
    The form is very '90s, look at modern form layout and see what you can use here to make it look more inviting.
    The page is responsive but on mobile doesn't appear to be full width. Might just be chrome's emulator but worth taking a look.

    Thanks for the feedback, will look into form layouts.
    But not sure how I can improve the quality of the graphics more.
    I'm using php's default GD and default imagejpeg functions to generate final image.

    ok, I did some changes in image quality. I did not realized it was set to 50%. Increased it to 100%
    Generated images are 1MB in size now, which was 10% of that earlier.
    You will need to view new images on the website itself.

    I know you've spent a lot of time on this, but it's really not "production quality". Keep playing around with it but if you can't get the text cleaned up then people won't actually use it.

    Hi @sarahk
    what is the font you used in this image?
    If the text is not too much, then use the largest font size available.
    Like "My Book" are just 2 words. So use the largest font size 70.

    If you remember the settings for this image you made, please let me know.

    I just used the default settings - and that's what most people will do - if the first result isn't good they won't be inspired to tweak the settings. Turns out the default is 70.

    The button on the colour picker is misaligned and the text needs editing - choose English English or American English and stick to it. Colour/Coloured or Color/Colored

    You have really helped! I appreciate your patience!
    I will fix the English issue.
    And I have fixed the font problem also. Now one can go small or large, as much as they want, will not matter, quality will remain good, text will not pixelate.
    I was doing something to improve processing time, that was causing pixilation in smaller fonts. Removed that code.
