Yah!!! its going to kill youtube for sure... But, only if Youtube commits suicide.. Jokes apart, nice tagline though... The site looks great.. but i would prefer if the common wibbly toolbar was removed. It's kinda annoying...
Youtube became successful because like google it was easy to use, and people understood what it and how to use it immediately. I clicked on your link, and was bombarded by visuals. Too much in my opinion. Suggestions - Simplify landing page - Reduce amount of visual videos - Rename URL to something that suggests movie "youttube" uploading

Don't make efforts to kill youtube, it is the wrong way of thinking, focus on making your site the best possible to make it appealing and accepted by very wide audience, then, if it gets so good that people would choose it over youtube it will 'kill' it on it's own.
I like the homepage. I don't know how easy it's gonna be to kill Youtube but the site does function well. Is it just me though, or is the player on the homepage a little wider then usual, maybe it's just my computer since I have a widescreen resolution though. Also you may want to add an HD option if you wanna compete with YouTube.
Well, I see you have no clue of Firebug. What I can tell you that all your errors and non-optimized stuff is not good for your ranking. I never said the site is not functioning. I'm only looking under the hood... at the code of your site. I even gave you the links to the W3C Validator, but hey I guess you don't even know what that validator is. Good luck

Hmm .. nice site, but to beat youtube, you need less images. Just look at youtube's layout, they are mostly imageless , they only have thumbnails of videos, this makes the site faster Good luck on beating it !
