Review: SoundUpload

Would you be able to review my site SoundUpload. Also could you include in the review about how well the service works?

Feel free to be harsh, as I am hoping the review(s) help me progress with the site more!

 

My immediate thought would be to make the font just a little bit larger than it is. Otherwise I think it looks quite OK.

 

Changed the font from 11px to 12px - It looks a bit bigger now.

The site looks a bit too cluttered.. I would balance your text with some clean graphics and spacing.

It's not bad, and I can understand wanting to have everything on one screen so people can upload from the landing page, but it IS a bit cluttered.

I really don't have an alternate suggestion for that, though.

- The forms on the register page should have some margins.
- The forums are a totally different color scheme.

 

Needs a little more white space or contrast of columns. Maybe change the color behind the "Upload Your Audio" section to a lighter shade. My eye isn't really sure where the focus is. Also, instead of the punctuation around -=[ Upload MP3, Upload WMA, Upload WAV, Upload RA ]=- on the bottom , an image may look better.

 

easy to navigate, i like it, but change the header graphics

Well I really liked the way u have put up the upload form on the forum.

U might wanna check that the "Register" button is now messed up in Firefox.

 

The register button seems fine to me.

PLEASE READ: Due to Sound Upload being so big I have been temp. suspended due to overload. It'll be back up at 1am (GMT+1)

 

Nice look however with all the adsense links on this page it makes it a little overwhelming on what to do first or how to navigate.

 

the page layout is a bit freaky and i think you should change the upload part to a bit bigger , it's will be more attract !

Apologises: Sorry for bumping this thread, but I found it more relevant than doing a whole new thread.

I have made significant changes to Sound Upload, just wondering if anyone else has any thought or suggestions?

 

i think it was a great one but the font should be a lil bit bigger.. apart from using a large site of ads, you might can adding up more by using several ads size.. more catchy since music is what it suppose too.. fun!
